Janet Velazquez obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. In addition, she has her Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Tennessee. She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. She has worked in social service settings for over fifteen years and is passionate about helping clients move forward in life. It is about meeting a person where they are at in life and helping them meet their goals. She has a broad interest and background in cultural issues, acculturation and diversity.
Janet is interactive and solution-focused. Her approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates somatic methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
